DIDACTIQUE ET AUTHENTIQUE : DU DOCUMENT A LA PEDAGOGIE

This article shows that authentic documents are a basic tool for the acquisition of communicative competence in a second language : an attempt is made to define what is meant by the word "authentic" in the didactic practice at C.R.A.P.E.L. The second part deals with the reasons for the choice of authentic documents and gives indications for their use in learning and teaching. The last part is an example of an English training program based on documents provided by the learners themselves.
