AUTONOMISATION ET SCOLARISATION EN MILIEU SCOLAIRE

Learning activities with even a limited degree of autonomy can make a contribution to pupils’ socialisation since they involve the acquisition of skills such as the ability to negotiate or to work as part of a team. This process is directly related to the extent to which the pupils themselves become autonomous, whether considered as individuals or as members of a group. An attempt is made to evaluate these two options. Finally, it is suggested that, for certain learners, the acquisition of autonomy can be a motivating factor.
